The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center will hold training for entry-level Kazakh-speaking trainers from various regions. The training is conducted within the framework of the “Capacity Development Initiative for NGO Experts” project with support of the Chevron Corporation in Kazakhstan. The training is scheduled for April 22-24 according to the principles of the NGO Expert Center.


The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center will hold training for entry-level Kazakh-speaking trainers in the framework of the “Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project supported by the Chevron Corporation in Kazakhstan. The training is scheduled for March 12-14 according to the principles of the NGO Expert Center.


March 5, 2013, Almaty. The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia launches the “Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project with support of the UN Democracy Fund, who provided $250000 for its realization.


Almaty, Kazakhstan, February 12-14, 2013– The Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center, in cooperation with the Chevron Corporation, will conduct training for representatives of eight Resource Centers from seven regions of Kazakhstan within the framework of the EU “Support to Rural NGOs” project. The trainings will be held in the International Academy of Business (Rozybakiyeva Street, lecture room 403).


On November 20, 2012 the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center of the International Academy of Business will hold the international conference titled, “Partnership between Businesses and NGOs in Effective Social Problem-Solving”, which is carried out according to the framework of “Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project, with the support of the Chevron Corporation.

A one-day seminar dedicated to the issues of financial management of NGOs, stability of the non-governmental organizations, and fundraising. Seminar participants will have a chance to get acquainted with modern literature on financial stability, and to assess strengths and weaknesses of different techniques.


On August 28-30 Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center will hold training for trainers in the framework of the “Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project with support of “Chevron Corporation” in Kazakhstan. The training will be held according to the basis of the International Academy of Business (Rozybakiyeva Street, not far away from “MEGA” Shopping Center).

The civil sector began to emerge in the country since the onset of its independence. Due to significant financial investments provided by Western donors, the number of the non-governmental organizations has increasingly grown, although the majority of them still remained far from meeting the real needs of society.


On September 4-6 Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the NGO Expert Center will hold training for trainers in the framework of the ”Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project with support of “Chevron Corporation” in Kazakhstan. The training will be carried out according to the principles of the International Academy of Business (Rozybakiyeva Street, not far away from “MEGA” Shopping Center).
