The launch of an innovative project for NGOs is announced

Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA), the International Academy of Business, and Chevron Corporation announced the creation of the NGO Expert Center. The cooperation agreement was signed within the framework of the “Civil Sector Capacity Building Initiative in Kazakhstan” project. As was stated in the official press release will facilitate the collection, adaption, and analysis of material on the institutional development of NGOs, as well as improving professional development of trainers, advisors, and NGO leaders.

The main priorities of the NGO Expert Center include: fulfilling the needs of NGOs in all regions and rural areas, and providing methodologies and trainers in Kazakh language”, - the idea behind creation of the NGO Expert Center explained by Rinad Temirbekov, the Chief Executive of Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia (EFCA). Due to the wide range of planned tasks, it easier to list those, with whom the NGO Expert Center is not going to cooperate. These include the military, religious organizations, trade unions, and political parties. All other NGOs, especially those who operate in the sphere of education, health care, and institutional development, are potential partners.
